Caddy service ‘Thai style’: Although in Europe employing caddies
is not the norm, Thais see things a little differently. It is compulsory
to have a caddy accompany you on your round. These well-trained caddies
(mainly female) will have a thorough knowledge of the course and the way
it plays, highlighting any hazards and generally helping you knock a few
shots off your scorecard.
Take
it easy: Refreshment bars are available after roughly every three holes
(depending on the course), where you can sit down have a drink and snack
and take it easy whenever you feel like it. Golf carts are also widely
available if you do not wish to walk.
